There's precious little predictability in the airline business these days, which is why Continental Airlines' decision to renew its lease at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport through 2015 is a welcome development. Cleveland officials did well to recognize that Continental's continued presence is critical to ensure growth at the airport, which is needed to keep the region economically competitive.
