TURNER Rule changes brought about by the federal government's Check 21 legislation are enabling Northeast Ohio financial institutions to roll out new technology that lets corporate clients deposit checks without ever heading to the bank. The system is known as remote capture, and the process is as simple as sliding a check into a device that transmits front and back images of the check to the bank.
