It's another acquisition for Solon's Swedish link. (Trelleborg Inc. acquires Morse Rubber Products Inc.)

It's another acquisition for Solon's Swedish link Trelleborg Inc. in Solon will complete on July 15 its purchase of Morse Rubber Products Inc., a Keokuk, Iowa-based manufacturer of rubber-to-metal products. Moirse Rubber Products, which has annual sales of $10 million, will become part of the Solon firm's Trellex division, which makes wear-resistant products for the mining industry.
Morse will be the third addition to the division in the past year. Last year the company acquired Polythane Enterprises of Bedford, Va., and Automation Belting Corp. of Toledo. Trelleborg Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of Trelleborg AB of Sweden.
