Edgell's new CEO confident he'll fit in It might be easy to assume that Richard Swank will have a tough time in his new job as chief executive officer of Edgell Communications Inc. After all, he's an outsider coming in to a company with a closely knit group of longtime managers and lots of debt.
But Mr. Swank, who most recently has been a business consultant in Connecticut and is a former executive vice president of Dun & Bradstreet Corp., said he isn't worried. "I have worked at organizations where I was `the outsider' at other times in my career," he said.
