Ernst & Young bolsters its Cleveland presence Ernst & Young is transferring the head of its regional corporate finance practice from Detroit to Cleveland to boost business here. Steven Oesterle, regional director of corporate finance, will direct a five-member team in Cleveland and continue to oversee a 10-person staff in Detroit, where the Cleveland contingent was based until earlier this month.
The corporate finance group provides consulting services, including acting as exclusive financial advisers, to companies buying or selling businesses and to firms undergoing financial restructurings. Mr. Oesterle helped establish the corporate finance practice in Detroit six years ago and a sizable portion of the group's practice comes from that area. That's why...
