6 Cowen & Co. brokers jump to Dean Witter Six stock brokers have left the Cleveland office of Cowen & Co. and signed on at the rival office of Dean Witter Reynolds Inc. The departing brokers included a national sales manager for Cowen. Paul Blackman, one of two general partners at Cowen who were in charge of the investment firm's national marketing, resigned from the firm on Dec.
10, said Frank Gruttadauria, partner in charge of Cowen's local office. Mr. Blackman's departure was followed by those of brokers Martin Winick, Jeffrey Nathanson, Barry Cohn, Bernard Klein and George Krohn. They left Cowen on Dec. 21.
