Ernst & Young adds 6 consultants as market grows The Cleveland office of Ernst & Young is expanding its benefits and compensation consulting practice in response to what it terms "burgeoning market demand." The firm announced earlier this month that it had hired six consultants for its actuarial, benefits and compensation consulting group.
Two have been hired from within the firm itself and four from other consulting and insurance companies. The six new hires bring the number of professionals in the group to 14, but the firm said it hopes to expand the group to between 35 and 40 by the end of this year. Ernst & Young partner Timothy Ridge is in charge of the group. Mr. Ridge, who started the regional practice for Ernst & Young here last October, said so...
