Centerior's subsidiaries get together Parent blending CEI, Toledo Ed into single unit Centerior Energy Corp. slowly is melding its two utility subsidiaries into a single company. The clear lines which have divided Cleveland Electric Illuminating Co. and Toledo Edison Co. since their affiliation in April 1986 are starting to blur as management has begun to view the organization as one entity -- Centerior.
