Two Norton's eateries go into receivership Two Norton's restaurants, popular Heights area eateries, have closed and are in receivership. The restaurants are owned by Robert Jones, former president of Van Dorn Co. Attorney Edward M. Mullin, the court-appointed receiver of the separate corporations which own the restaurants, said the Norton's at Fairmount Circle was closed on June 20 because of county Health Department violations and the Cedar Road restaurant was closed last Tuesday after its electricity was shut off because of unpaid bills.

Mr. Mullin said the state of Ohio filed for receivership earlier this year because of unpaid taxes. Mr. Mullin said he and Mr. Jones are considering various options, including selling the restaurants. A third Norton's in...
