Hitchcock adds work. (Hitchcock Fleming and Associates Inc. wins contract with First Bancorporation of Ohio) (Marketing Mix) (Brief Article)
Crain's Cleveland Business, February, 1992 by Mooney, Barbara
Akron-based Hitchcock Fleming & Associates Inc. has added another piece of business from First Bancorporation of Ohio. First National Bank of Massillon, a seven-branch affiliate of Akron-based First National Bank, moved its account to Hitchcock Fleming. The bank had used Canton-based Innis-Maggiore-Olson.
Two calls to Phillip Becker, president and chief executive officer of the Massillon bank, were unreturned by press time. The move allows the bank to merge its marketing efforts in markets where both affiliates have a presence, such as North Canton, said Cyrus Hitchcock, president of Hitchcock Fleming. The account, which will entail print and broadcast advertising as well as public relations, "will be in the low six figures" in annual billings, Mr. Hitchcock said.
