Ex-salesmen on their own -- and happy Tim Urwin and Chris Tjotjos have taken an idea they hatched less than three years ago in a bedroom of their house along the Rocky River and developed LOGOS Communications Inc. into a company with offices in five Midwestern cities. LOGOS, which sells equipment such as modems and fiber cables for computer communications networks, had sales of $3.4 million in 1991 and expects to exceed $5 million in sales this year.

Not bad for a company that used an attic for a warehouse and bedrooms for offices during its first year of existence.
