St. Vincent chief named. (Samuel H. Turner; St. Vincent Charity Hospital and Health Center)

Two years after it began, the search to find a president for St. Vincent Charity Hospital & Health Center is over. Samuel H. Turner has been appointed president of the downtown hospital by Peter G. Reibold, president and chief executive officer of the CSA Health Network. Mr. Reibold had been the hospital's acting president since 1990.
Mr. Turner, who begins his new job today, Jan. 4, also will be executive vice president for the CSA Health Network, which includes St. Vincent's and St. John & Westshore Hospital in Westlake. For almost two years, Mr. Turner has been senior vice president and chief operating officer at St. Mary's Medical Center in Gary, Ind.
