A Twinsburg company that specializes in bringing the brilliant illumination of metal halide lights to public venues such as stadiums, highways and parking lots has set its sights on the home market. Advanced Lighting Technologies Inc., through its Microsun Technologies division, is preparing to launch a line of lamps for residential and office use.
After three years of research on how to miniaturize the metal halide lamps it sells to makers of large-to-mammoth lighting fixtures, Microsun has developed prototypes and is poised to make both the metal halide light bulb components as well as table and floor lamps.
