Exec search firm picks new managing partner.(Heidrick and Struggles International Inc.)(Brief Article)

Heidrick & Struggles International Inc., one of the world's largest executive search firms, has named Bonnie Gwin managing partner of its Cleveland office. The promotion is more than a passing of the baton, said Charles Wallace Jr., who stepped down from the position to head the firm's new North American automotive practice.
It's symbolic of the transition Northeast Ohio needs to make from the "Old Economy to the New Economy," Mr. Wallace said. "I felt after eight years in office it was time to turn things over to someone who could give us a new perspective and vision that was more in step with what Northeast Ohio has to do," he said. "We look at Heidrick leading the way and sending a signal to the business community that it needs a New Economy mind set."...
