Classic stretches south to build Honda dealership ; Mentor-based auto group sees growth potential in Streetsboro.(Classic Automotive Group to add Honda dealership)(Brief Article)

Classic Automotive Group of Mentor is taking a $5 million trip down south - to Streetsboro, to be exact - to build its first Honda dealership. Honda of North America on July 31 awarded Classic the Streetsboro dealership. The dealership will be called Classic Honda and will be the auto group's first location south of Lake County, said Bob Ringo, Classic's chief operating officer.
Classic has 19 auto franchises in Lake County. Although the Honda dealership will be about 45 minutes from Classic's Mentor headquarters, it will be worth the drive as the auto group seeks new growth markets, Mr. Ringo said. ``We just feel like there's so much potential down there'' in northern Portage County, Mr. Ringo said. ``Streetsboro is exploding'' with retail growth, he...
