The company celebrated its 90th anniversary at the innovative campus in East Cleveland earlier this year as it marked a heritage that dates to 1879, when Thomas Edison unveiled the first practical electric light.
That lamp, the incandescent bulb, has become ubiquitous. But as much as Nela Park honors 19th century technology, it's planning for a future without it.
