Datatrak collecting more fans; Wall St. taking notice of software firm's growth.(software developer aids pharmaceutical companies)

Byline: JEFF STACKLIN Datatrak International Inc., a software developer in Mayfield Heights that enables pharmaceutical companies to collect research data via the Internet, is beginning to make some noise around the world - and on Wall Street. Although Datatrak stock has been trading at more than $5 a share for the last two weeks, analysts following the 55-employee company say it might not be such a bargain stock for long.

"I've been very impressed with Datatrak's patterns of growth,'' said Edward A. Kucler, a research analyst for Financial America Securities Inc. in Cleveland. "They are moving along very nicely.'' Indeed, last Thursday, Aug. 14, Datatrak shares closed at $5.50, an increase of 340% since March 31, when the stock closed at $1.25 a share....
