Plum job for SBK; Firm lead manager on $233 OSU deal.(Ohio State University bond issue)

Byline: RYAN CORNELL Eric Small, president of SBK-Brooks Investment Corp., said he hopes a $233.8 million bond issue his investment banking firm completed last week for Ohio State University will lead to more opportunities in the higher education market for the Cleveland-based company. The issue is both the largest in the history of Ohio higher education and the largest and most complex deal in which SBK-Brooks has participated as senior manager, Mr.
Small said. "Transactions don't come much more complex than this,'' he said. "But it demonstrates that we have the expertise, manpower, capitalization and distribution to compete on a national level.''
