Clinic, Kaiser adding outposts in new Avon campus.(Health Care)

Byline: SHANNON MORTLAND The Cleveland Clinic and Kaiser Permanente are branching out further west, with both health care providers planning locations in the new, $25 million Avon Pointe Professional Campus. Kaiser Permanente is scheduled to open a primary care office Oct. 18, and the Clinic will open an office next summer where it will provide primary care and diagnostic imaging services.
Avon Mayor Jim Smith said additional medical services will help the city grow at a faster pace. "People and industry want to locate where they have these types of services,'' Mayor Smith said.
