NOSE to NOSE; Fight fierce among low-fare carriers, legacy airlines.(Special Report)

Byline: JULIE PAVELICH When it comes to attracting - and pleasing - business travelers in Northeast Ohio, low-fare carriers including AirTran and Southwest are flying high. The Wall Street Journal recently reported that these airlines face pressure by newer, cheaper competitors and declining fares at legacy airlines such as Delta.

However, local airport officials say the no-frills airlines are successfully targeting business commuters and are far from crash landing.
