Med Mutual firms claim Clinic, Georgia accounts.(News)(Medical Mutual of Ohio and Cleveland Clinic Foundation)

Byline: SHANNON MORTLAND Medical Mutual of Ohio Inc. has expanded its business in its hometown of Cleveland while also dipping its feet in the Georgia health care pool. The health insurance firm's Antares subsidiary now will process all health insurance claims made by employees of the Cleveland Clinic, said Ed Hartzell, CEO of Antares.
Those claims previously had been processed by Apex Benefits Services, which is a subsidiary of Summa Health System in Akron. Antares will handle claims made by more than 27,000 Clinic employees and their families, Mr. Hartzell said.
