Byline: JAY MILLER, SHANNON MORTLAND In a sharp break with its tradition, the Council of Smaller Enterprises is entering into a 10-year, exclusive contract with Medical Mutual of Ohio for health insurance coverage for 240,000 employees and their family members in Northeast Ohio. What's more, one-person companies that join COSE after July 1 no longer will be guaranteed COSE health insurance coverage.

That's when the new contract takes effect. The new contract takes COSE out of the business of competitive selection of insurance companies and ends its role in the setting of underwriting standards and rates.
