Not toying around: Newell Rubbermaid Inc. has agreed to sell Hudson-based Little Tikes Co. to MGA Entertainment Inc. for an undisclosed amount. The company expects a net gain of $15 million to $25 million from Little Tikes' sale to the Van Nuys, Calif.-based toymaker, which produces the popular Bratz fashion dolls.
Little Tikes makes infant and preschool products and has about 500 employees in Hudson. A Newell Rubbermaid spokeswoman declined comment on the future of those employees. Little Tikes contributed about $250 million to Newell Rubbermaid's 2005 revenue of $6.3 billion.
