Crain's Cleveland Business, February, 2007
Byline: DAVID BENNETT Manufacturing advocates from Cleveland and other parts of Ohio hope to boost the competitiveness of auto suppliers in the state, but first they want to get a better handle on the dynamics and difficulties facing the diverse industrial sector. Cleveland State University, the manufacturing advocacy group Magnet and the Ohio Manufacturers Association are teaming up on the Ohio Auto Supplier Benchmark Study, which is designed to collect data about and report on the plant-level performance and best practices of Ohio-based auto suppliers.
Participating companies are asked to complete a confidential, 30-minute questionnaire, available at www.OhioAutoSupplier.com
