Ann Arbor company goes to EDS alumni A longtime Ann Arbor software and technical-staffing company has been purchased by a Bethesda, Md.-based Internet-commerce start-up that's run by alumni of Electronic Data Systems Corp. The 200 employees of Software Services Corp. learned of its acquisition by AppNet Systems Inc.

Wednesday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Software Services is the largest acquisition yet by AppNet, founded in November by Ken Bajaj, a former EDS executive, and three other ex-EDS employees.
