DEMMER FORD BUYS FARMINGTON DEALERSHIP.

Jack Demmer Ford Inc. has acquired a Lincoln Mercury dealership in Farmington to complement its long-time Ford dealership and accommodate customers' demands. The Wayne-based Jack Demmer Ford purchased the former Bob Dusseau Lincoln Mercury for an undisclosed amount from 81-year-old Robert Dusseau Sr.

who is retired and lives in Bloomfield Hills and Boca Raton, Fla. Jack Demmer Ford took over the dealership Nov. 30. It now is known as Jack Demmer Lincoln Mercury Inc. Jack Demmer Ford had revenue of $120 million in 1997, said Jack Demmer, CEO of the dealership. He said Dusseau Lincoln Mercury averaged about $25 million in annual revenue.
