ANTHONY "TONY" RICHARDS Director of Product Strategies DaimlerChrysler AG. Country of origin: England Anthony "Tony" Richards never dreamed he'd have the job he does today when he was working at Chrysler Corp.'s Jeep operations. Richards heads the team integrating Chrysler and Daimler-Benz AG into a single DaimlerChrysler AG entity.
He is responsible for coordinating matters related to the merger of the two companies, which occurred last year. Previously, Richards was general product manager of Chrysler's Jeep operations. Before the merger, he was responsible for the development and launch of the all-important Jeep Grand Cherokee, which debuted last fall.
