DETROIT TO HOST NORTHERN `SUMMIT' ON GAMBLING.

A Detroit and Lansing law firm and a national casino publishing house plan to host a major trade show and conference focusing on gambling in the Midwest and Canada. Northern Gaming Summit 1999 is scheduled for Oct. 12-14 at Cobo Center and is being sponsored by Fraser, Trebilcock, Davis & Foster P.C.
and Casino Journal Publishing Group Inc. of Atlantic City, N.J. It will highlight information on riverboat and tribal casinos and the Detroit-Windsor market, said Robert Russell of Fraser, Trebilcock. Speakers are to include J. Terrence Lanni, chairman of MGM Grand Inc., and Glenn Schaeffer, president of Mandalay Resort Group Inc. (formerly Circus Circus).
