Harold Pope, president of the 18,000-member National Bar Association, has exited what was left of the Detroit law firm of Segue, Fair, Adams & Pope L.L.C. to become a partner at Jaffe, Raitt, Heuer & Weiss, one of the largest firms in metro Detroit. Pope will continue to work on commercial litigation and product-liability defense for Jaffe, which has about 80 attorneys.
Pope said he brings two clients, Ford Motor Co. and Allstate Insurance Co., to the firm. He said Segue, Fair, Adams and Pope was dissolved this spring. ``By that point, it was just Adams and Pope,'' he said. ``Everyone was going their own way.''
