Comcast targets business with cable Internet.

Philadelphia-based Comcast Cable Communications Inc. says it will market its Comcast@Home high-speed Internet service to small businesses in metro Detroit by the end of this year. The service brings Internet access that rivals the speed of a T1 fiber-optic connection for far less money: $40 a month for Comcast@Home service vs.
$500 to more than $1,000 a month for a regular T1 line. ``We plan on being very aggressive on the commercial side of the business,'' said Stephen Burke, Comcast president, who toured the company's Detroit-area operations last week. ``We're betting our company on this future.''
