Masco Corp. (NYSE: MAS) is trying to rebound from its decline in revenue growth and stock price. Last week, Masco, the country's largest maker of cabinets, faucets, locks and other home improvement products, announced a 6 percent increase in earnings. Masco reported net income of $185.4 million or 41 cents a share on revenue of $1.871 billion for the second quarter ended June 30.
Masco's net income for the same period last year was $174.1 million or 39 cents on revenue of $1.567 billion. The company reported net income of $359.4 million or 80 cents a share on revenue of $3.617 billion for the first half of this year.
