Local company catches Harry Potter magic John Edwards is reading the first volume of Harry Potter to his 8-year-old daughter, Erin, and for good reason - his publishing company, Ann Arbor-based Edwards Brothers Inc., is printing 400,000 copies of the immensely popular children's book series.

For Edwards Brothers, the project is much larger than their typical project. The company specializes in textbooks and technical manuals of 20,000 copies or less. ``We're excited to be a part of it, because it's getting 8- to 12-year-olds to read who are normally playing video games and watching TV,'' said Edwards, who is the company president.
