Landowners await news of what casino switch means.

The cards may have been laid out in the city of Detroit's bid to acquire land for permanent casinos, but many landowners still don't know how it relates to what they're holding. Condemnation attorneys and landowners said they were surprised at Detroit Mayor Dennis Archer's Thursday announcement that MGM Grand Detroit would be the only casino to move to the district.
Adding to the confusion was the lack of an announced location.
