Semco Energy moves into new Farmington Hills headquarters.(Brief Article)

LANSING - As of today, Farmington Hills is the new home of Semco Energy Inc. Over the weekend, executives of the formerly Port Huron-based company began moving into Semco's new headquarters in the Fairways Office Center, at Northwestern Highway and 13 Mile Road. Semco (NYSE: SEN) is leasing more than 10,000 square feet and expects to house about 20 top executives and personnel who are the corporate core of the 2,500-employee company.
It's a small presence, but Semco executives hope it will be a more visible and accessible location. ``The corporation is no longer just a rural and suburban gas company serving Michigan,'' said Francis Lieder, Semco's manager of communications and media relations. ``We really felt we needed a location that reflected the size...
