Many suppliers still not sold on virtues of using Covisint.(Brief Article)

Kevin English has a lot of work ahead of him as CEO of Covisint L.L.C. if comments made by auto suppliers at the Management Briefing Seminars last month in Traverse City are indicative of the general mood of suppliers. Generally, automakers and tier-one suppliers - those that sell directly to the automakers - have been the primary users of Covisint since it went live in October.
Suppliers in the lower tiers, which sell primarily to other suppliers, say they have had little or no contact with Covisint. Covisint was conceived and developed last year by Ford Motor Co., General Motors Corp. and DaimlerChrysler AG. Nissan, Renault and Peugeot later joined as minority equity partners.
