Some gut instincts: Jack Welch talks about Jacques Jack Welch, former chairman and CEO of General Electric Co., said last week he has a lot of respect for Ford Motor Co. CEO Jacques Nasser, whose job is widely reported to be in jeopardy. Welch was in Ann Arbor Wednesday promoting his book, Straight from the Gut.
``I've known Jac Nasser for a number of years, and I've always thought of him as a really good leader,'' Welch said. ``I think he's trying to create change. Change is difficult, and the people most affected by change are going to be the most resistant.''
