Byline: Katie Merx All of Detroit's Big Four accounting offices have named new managing partners within the past year. Ernst & Young L.L.P. Managing Partner Jeff Bergeron became managing partner of that firm's Detroit practice in May 2002 when Ernst & Young absorbed Arthur Andersen L.L.P.'s Detroit practice.

He replaced Michael Hanley, who was promoted to Americas automotive-segment leader. Bergeron has been around, though: He had been Andersen's Detroit managing partner. PricewaterhouseCoopers L.L.P.'s Detroit area managing partner, Mark Mendola, has four months under his belt.
