Finalists outline plans to redevelop Silverdome.(News)

Byline: Jennette Smith The three finalists competing for the chance to redevelop the Pontiac Silverdome are offering more specifics on their plans. A recent presentation provided the first in-depth look at the three proposals. More meetings may be planned, and the city is expected to make a selection by the end of the year, said Eric Walker, executive director of the Silverdome.
The decision will be based on what offers the largest benefits in taxes, investment, and the number and caliber of jobs, Walker said. The three finalists are General Development Co./Schostak Bros. & Co. Inc.; Etkin Equities L.L.C./Kojaian Cos.; and Danou Development L.L.C.
