Blue Care to consolidate 800 workers in Southfield In one of the biggest office leases of the year, Blue Care Network of Michigan plans to consolidate more than 800 local office workers in the Allied Center building in Southfield. Blue Care Network, the HMO affiliate of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, said it plans to move employees from the Riverside Center in Southfield and the Bingham Office Park in Bingham Farms.

In a written statement provided to Crain's, Kevin Seitz, Blue Care Network president and CEO, said the HMO would be the only occupant in the building, which will give more flexibility in using the space.
