Deloitte names new chief for Great Lakes region Deloitte & Touche USA L.L.P.'s board of directors late last month named Thomas Dekar its new Great Lakes regional managing partner. Dekar, 54, has worked at Deloitte & Touche's Detroit office since 1975. He replaces Sally Buckles, who is becoming the firm's lead client-service partner for Washington Mutual Bank in Seattle.
Most recently, Dekar was the CFO of Deloitte Consulting L.L.C. and global director of business performance and finance for Deloitte's worldwide consulting practice.
