Stu Evans family member files suit, claims mismanagement.(News)

Byline: Brent Snavely A lawsuit filed against Stu Evans Automotive Group Inc. by a family member alleges President and CEO John Evans has mismanaged the company and concealed evidence of that mismanagement. The lawsuit, filed Sept. 30 in U.S. District Court in Detroit by Linda Evanswood of Nevada, who owns 12 percent of the company, criticizes Evans for using dealership money to buy a $762,000 yacht, the purchase and later sale of a drag-racing team, and the ownership and operation of a horse stable in Hebron, Ohio.
