Under SEC probe, Delphi delays filings.(News)(United States Securities and Exchange Commission)(Brief Article)

Byline: Robert Sherefkin Automotive News Delphi Corp. has delayed filing audited financial statements while it is under investigation by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The SEC is looking into how the Troy-based automotive supplier accounted for transactions with EDS Corp. and other technology service vendors.
No timetable has been set for the release of the audited third-quarter and nine-month results, says Delphi spokeswoman Claudia Baucus. She declined to identify the other suppliers involved. The SEC is reviewing transactions between Delphi and EDS from 2000 through 2003, according to a filing Delphi made with the SEC.
