Byline: Constance Crump Taylor-based Masco Corp. says an executive leadership program developed by Michigan State University has saved the company more than $20 million. The four-year-old Masco Leadership Program in Operations Management is a one-year certificate program designed to give Masco's middle managers a strategic perspective that emphasizes understanding operations and planning improvements.

Faculty at MSU's Eli Broad College of Business worked with the company to create the program. Masco (NYSE: MAS) manufactures home-improvement and building products.
