An endorsement? Comerica says no.(News)(Comerica Bank endorses Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick)

Was it an endorsement or simply a statement of fact? That's what some readers of a recent economic report issued by Comerica Bank, the city of Detroit's lead bank, may have wondered last week. The bank distributed a thick report, "Detroit Development Initiatives 2005,'' to bank customers, potential investors and others.
The report lists developments, charts and pictures of recent major commercial, industrial and residential investments and projects in the city. In the second paragraph of the executive summary, Comerica Vice President Brenda Schneider wrote: "The City of Detroit is in the fourth year of the administration of Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick.
