Ajilon: Pays for military service.(Special Report)(Ajilon Consulting's compensation to its workers)(Brief Article)

Crain's Detroit Business, August, 2005 by Selby, Shawn

Byline: Shawn Selby Debra Temrowski, a consultant manager for the Southfield office of Ajilon Consulting, isn't in the military. But she's happy that her co-workers who have been called up for active duty won't have to endure economic hardships that typically result when they lose their civilian incomes and have to get by on military pay.

The company, which has 586 employees, decided last year that it would pay employees who are serving in the military the portion of their salary that is over and above their military pay, Temrowski said. The policy was made retroactive to Sept. 11, 2001, and affected workers received extra pay, she said.
