There were two factual errors in our Aug.
29 story, which are corrected on Page 2 this week. Beyond that, he believes the headline ("Metaldyne muddle'') and the prominent placement were unfair. The accounting problems were reported a year ago, had been discovered by Leuliette's own in-house financial team and stem from practices Metaldyne inherited from companies acquired by private-equity investors to form Metaldyne in 2001.
