Detroit lawyers pick up extra work.(News)(Delphi Corp.)

Byline: Robert Ankeny Delphi Corp.'s Chapter 11 reorganization lawsuit filed Oct. 8 in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in New York City uses Chicago-based Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom L.L.P. as lead lawyers, but many Detroit area law firms will have some role. More than a dozen major law firms represent some of the companies among the host of creditors, including tier-two and smaller suppliers, some of which may plan to file for reorganization too.
