Kellogg, Ford Foundations plan $17M for Detroit The Ford Foundation and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation will grant $7 million and $10 million, respectively, to increase job creation and improve the economy of neighborhoods near Detroit's RiverWalk project between downtown and Belle Isle. The Ford Foundation is giving $5 million to the Community Foundation for Southeastern Michigan for neighborhood development and $2 million to the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy for the development of the RiverWalk and community outreach.
The Kellogg Foundation has committed $10 million to the Community Foundation for neighborhood development. No GM price cut for Delphi General Motors Corp. stepped in last week to help former division Delphi Corp. in its bankruptcy...
