Byline: Tom Henderson Questar Capital Corp., an Ann Arbor-based securities broker and registered investment adviser, has been bought by the Allianz Life Insurance Co. of North America. Terms of the deal were not announced. Questar, registered to sell securities products nationwide and offer investment advice in 30 states, will continue to operate under that name.
It employs 31. Three principals of Questar - Scott Chimner, John Gakenheimer and Jason Kavanaugh - will join Allianz as members of senior management.
