Reporter's Notebook: Retired, but far from retiring.(Comerica Bank's David Littmann's opinion over economics)

Byline: Tom Henderson David Littmann retired last year as Comerica Bank's chief economist. Since then, he has written a weekly column on handwriting analysis for the Holly Community Voice. But he's not afraid to proclaim that the handwriting is on the wall for the state economy. Those who caught him at any of the recent stops on his semiannual speaking tour - the Northwood University Freedom Seminar at the Atheneum Hotel on April 21, to members of management at Detroit Edison last Tuesday or to executives and shareholders of the new Bank of Birmingham on Thursday found out quickly that retirement hasn't mellowed Littmann a bit.
